Autonomic Response Testing — What is it?

I mention Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt often because he is the leading Lyme expert in the world. As I say in my talks on Lyme, if you haven’t had a baby, you don’t know what it’s like to have a baby. Same holds true for Lyme — if you haven’t had it, you don’t know what it’s like. Dr. Klinghardt knows what it’s like and has used his own body as a laboratory. He is not a doctor who pulls a remedy out of the sky to see how it will work on a patient.

That’s where Autonomic Response Testing comes in — having studied George Goodheart’s style of muscle testing (kinesiology), Dr. Klinghardt discovered that the muscle testing that is used by chiropractors and other practitioners only finds secondary issues. ART first finds the primary problem(s) and then the secondary. ART is like fishing — you need to know where the fish are and you need the right bait to not just get a nibble but to feel the pull from the fish at the end of the line.

Here is a quote from Dr. Klinghardt’s website describing ART:

Autonomic Response Testing (ART) is a biofeedback enhanced physical exam which uses changes in muscle tone as primary indicator. It produces the most reliable & consistent responses over other forms of muscle testing, going deeper into the matrix and intercellular levels.

It was developed by Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD. ART is a comprehensive diagnostic system that has helped to transform many practices in the US and abroad into healing centers – and helped many practitioners to become accomplished holistic physicians.
