Burn Out: Why It Happens
Burn out is a common thing. Usually people say they’re over worked, have too much responsibility. The body responds by creating symptoms like panic attacks, anxiety, depression, insomnia, heart burn, constipation, difficulty swallowing, lack of libido, cold feet and the list goes on.
In a nutshell, burn out is a result of never saying no. Patient after patient comes in feeling like they are just tired of life, but in reality, burn out is a wake up call. If you’re a caregiver, a workaholic or someone who is just driven to perform, acupuncture can really help. In three sessions, a patient who was at the end of her rope is starting to get her life back–in fact, she’s embarking on a whole new way of getting to know herself.
